Chateau De Javernand has been in operation since 1917. Our family has passionately cultivated the vines and the charm of the preserved Javernand valley: 55 hectares of vines, meadows, and woods in one piece. Five generations later, agroecology has become essential to us, due to climate change and the agronomic needs of our soils: plant cover and agroecology are now widespread in our vineyards. The entire estate is cultivated using organic farming methods. We produce enjoyable, healthy, balanced, elegant, and expressive wines. The Les Garilles Chiroubles is no exception, named after the lizards that live in the vineyard, and typical of the Chiroubles AOP, it is a supple and delicious wine, with a ruby color, a beautiful fruit freshness and floral notes revealing the high-altitude granite terroir of Javernand.
