PICK-UP, SHIPPING & RETURNS
In-Store Pick-Up or Delivery
During the checkout process, you have the option to choose from free pick-up from our Rocky Mountain Wine Spirits Beer store in Calgary (close to Chinook Centre) or ship your product right to your door within Canada by Canada Post (fees apply).
In-Store Pick-Up
Doing some errands? Well why not pick up your bevy order while you’re out – finally an errand to look forward to! Select the in-store pick-up option while you check out and our staff will get your order ready for you. The best part? If you order by noon, your order will be ready for pickup by 4:00pm that day (closed Sunday).* We also have plenty of parking right outside the store. Checkout our full store hours and address. Once your order has been processed and is ready to be picked-up, we’ll shoot you an email.
Don’t forget to bring your government issued photo ID upon pick-up, and your order number or confirmation email.
We also offer curbside pick-up – just give us a call upon your arrival with your order number, show us your ID through the window, and we’ll place your order right into your trunk.
If you need someone else to pick up your order you can enter their name during the check-out process. Just remember that they need to show ID and also be of legal drinking age.
*Note, we can only promise your order will be ready for same-day pick up if you order by noon. If you order after 12:00pm, your order will be ready for pickup by 4:00pm the next business day. If you need it sooner, just give us a shout and we’ll see what we can do.
Shipping
Can’t make it to our store? No problem! We offer shipping of your favourite beverages right to your door through Canada Post! Your shipping fee will be calculated at checkout and will depend on the weight and number of items in your cart. Cost of shipping will be calculated and shown before payment is required.
We currently ship across Canada, excluding select postal codes in Nunavut where alcohol delivery is restricted.
Orders will be shipped out the next business day and will take roughly 2-5 business days. Once an order is shipped you will receive an email notifying you that your order is on its way along with its tracking number, and estimated day of delivery. Please note that a signature and ID of someone of legal drinking age will be required. If you are not available to receive the order it will be brought to your nearest postal outlet for signature pickup. Orders cannot be left on the doorstep unattended.
Shipping Wine in Extreme Temperatures
At Rocky Mountain Wine Spirits Beer, we are committed to delivering your wine in perfect condition, regardless of the weather. Our policies for shipping wine during periods of extreme temperatures are designed to prevent exposure to conditions that could compromise the quality of your wine. Here are the details of our shipping policy during hot or cold weather:
Standard Shipping
- Carrier: We typically ship orders through Canada Post.
- Weather Holds: If the temperature is too hot or too cold, we will hold your shipment at our facility. We monitor weather conditions closely and will only ship your wine when the temperature is conducive to safe transport.
Immediate Shipping with Temperature Control
- Carrier: For customers that would prefer immediate shipments during extreme temperatures, we offer shipping through ATS in temperature-regulated vehicles.
- Additional Costs: Opting for temperature-controlled shipping may result in additional costs. We will provide specific details and discuss these options with you at the time of your order to ensure you are fully informed before proceeding.

You have the choice to wait for safer weather or proceed with temperature-controlled shipping at an additional cost. We respect your decision and will accommodate your preferences to the best of our ability.

Returns
If you aren’t happy with the wines you purchased, don’t be shy. Give us a call or an email and we’ll make it right. You will need to return your products at least ¾ full and within 15 days from delivery or pickup date.
