This is a wine from Parcela, the tip of the winery pyramid. It’s name honours a noble product of Manchuela: saffrom and it’s rose. It is made becuase we consider that is is a special vineyard and we do not want to mix it. The vineyard, planted in 1939, brings together half a dozen varietires, with Bobal predominating among them, and about 10% white gapes, on calcareous gravel. It is decadent, round, lush and very good.
