Bench 1775 Syrah from the Similkameen Valley is crafted from younger vines on their estate in the Valley. The grapes reached full ripeness and retained great acidity. The wine was aged for 16 months in 40% new French oak. A great wine to drink now, with layers of dark berries, white pepper and blueberry. A wonderful match for roast dinner, eggplant dishes, or mushrooms.
