Old Forester 1870 Original Batch Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made from select barrels from three warehouses, each barrel originating from a different day of production, with a different entry proof and a different age profile. The three expressions of Old Forester are then batched together and minimally filtered to craft Old Forester 1870 Original Batch. Balanced and elegant with crisp apple and a citrus fruit medley giving way to shortbread sweetness, bright vanilla and subtle clove. Soft and silky as fruits and florals dissipate into bright oak tones and subtle, sweet baking spices.
