Toubled Monk’s GrainHenge Elevator Row No. 2 is crafted with character. This 6 year old whisky takes inspiration from one of Troubled Monk’s core beers, The Pesky Pig Pale Ale. Aged for 78 months in #2 and #4 char new American oak barrels, this whisky showcases a rich blend of 30% Dark Munich malt and 70% Canadian 2-Row malt.
On the nose you are met with warm vanilla, caramel and brown sugar with hints of baking spice, toasted nuts and dried fruit and upon that first sip a rich sweetness with dried fruits, raisins, golden brown sugar and vanilla. The Elevator Row No. 2 finishes with a dry nutty character that lingers with herbal and baking spices.
