Salvi is the Italian word for health, and that’s what the region of Poggio has been historically known for. In the past, people used to come to the region to avoid or recover from diseases. Poggio Salvi Brunello di Montalcino has notes of black raspberries, forest floor, licorice, and iron shavings. It has a crunchy, rustic texture refined by the complexity of flavour and structure.
