Named Funtanì (fountain) for the natural spring at the foot of the hill on the edge of the property, this wine is rustic, yet complex and elegant. The Montezemolo Barbera D’Alba Funtanì has notes of ripe red cherry, spice, and rose. Though the palate is red-fruited, this wine is very dark in colour and very bold in structure.
Try pairing it with braised beef on celeriac mash.
