A very nice Chenin, with stone fruit and honey tones that is fermented traditionally, like all other Guy Saget signature wines. The decision to forego oak ageing stems from a desire to fully reveal the potential of Loire wines. Apples, pears and nectarines leap out of the glass and with a slight sweetness this wine remains fresh due to it’s balanced acidity and body.
This well-made wine will be superb with vegetarian dishes, or chicken baked with carrots.
