Andreas Englemann hit this wine out of the park. From a lesser known area of southern Germany, Baden focusses on Burgundian grape varietals rather than traditional German varieties. Old vines, care and attention to grapes and minimal intervention produces this beautiful, rather outstanding bottle of Pinot Noir. He creates richly flavoured, sumptuously textured wines that show off why his vineyard was given the name Sommerberg – the ‘Summer Mountain”.
