A bright, ruby-coloured wine from the island of Sicily in Italy. It’s made from Nero d’Avola grapes which is a lesser-known Sicilian grape varietal that is often compared to Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah. The nose is fruity, a bit spicy, and fragrant with hints of balsamic. The palate is fresh with fruity notes and smooth tannins. Try it with spaghetti or wood-fired pizza and it will have you dreaming of past (or upcoming) trips to Italy!
