Chateau Serilhan 2016

From the famed village of Saint-Estephe in Bordeaux, this wine spends 15 months in oak barrels and is a blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc. It has a beautifully defined bouquet with aromas of blackberry, cigar box and smoke that unfold gently into the glass. The palate is semi-full-bodied with succulent black and red fruits, very fine tannins, a quality new oak veneer but with a more than sufficient fruit underneath and a long sensual finish. 91-93 Points Robert Parker.
