This beautiful Chianti Classico is named for Nicolo Sergardi, an ancestor of the family who governed Sienna in the 1530s. His was dubbed “Ser Gardo” meaning guardian of the city. The Bindi Sergardi Ser Gardo Chianti Classico delivers intense notes of raspberry, pomegranate, and delicate spice. Fresh with strong structure and fine tannins.
Try pairing it with Proscuitto-wrapped chicken breasts stuffed with herbed goat cheese.
