After maturing in a traditional oak cask for eight years, this Scottish whiskey is finished in a selection of Port casks sourced from an artisan producer. This process gives the whiskey a rich flavour which on the nose has aromas of cinnamon and baked apple. On the palate it offers notes of vanilla, ripe citrus, fried fruit, and a nuttiness, with a spicy finish complimented by flavours of bitter orange, chocolate, and cherries.
