King’s Inch Single Malt Scotch Whisky was named after the imperial measurement of an inch that was once decreed as three fat barleycorns laid end to end; a king’s inch, they said! This first release is approachable yet characterful lowland single malt. They bottled just a few thousand bottles! It is approachable, easy-drinking, and very good with notes of fruity, spiced characteristics and a long finish from time spent in both first-fill Kentucky and Oloroso sherry butts. The flavours of vanilla, biscuite and hints of elegant sweetness round this beauty out.
